Entry Requirements:
To participate, you'll need:
- Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
- Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. Completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context, as Shuyu features prominently.
Gameplay Mechanics:
The event's premise is simple: control an Onikabuto beetle in simulated battles within your Serenitea Pot at Mt. Aocang, facing off against various enemies. Movement is controlled using Forward, Backward, and Jump. Mastering timing and stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Powerful attacks, like Piercing Strike (hold the attack button), are particularly stamina-intensive.
Enemy Encounters and Strategies:
Here's a breakdown of each stage's opponent and effective tactics:
- Staff Master (Basic Hilichurl): Repeated head strikes are effective. Watch for ground markings indicating attack zones to dodge.
- Torch-Wielding Hilichurl Berserker: Target its head; the Pyro Slime it carries is also a weak point, especially when it's preparing to throw it.
- Pyro Abyss Mage: Interrupt its spellcasting, then attack repeatedly. Watch out for fireballs and flame pillars.
- Cryo Abyss Mage: Employ the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
- Stonehide Lawachurl: A fast-paced battle. Attack aggressively; a Geo Slime will appear, making a Piercing Strike crucial for maximum damage.
Difficulty and Rewards:
Choose "Focused Fight" (two-star difficulty) for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) unlocks after clearing "Focused Fight," offering Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy weaknesses.
Co-op mode is available; select "Match" to team up with other players. Complete all challenges on "Focused Fight" to earn a total of 420 Primogems! Additional rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
