Mesopotamian Point-and-Click Adventure Arrives in May

Authore: LaylaUpdate:Jan 20,2025

Unravel the mystery of your father's disappearance in "My Father Lied," a captivating point-and-click adventure game launching May 30th!

Created by solo developer Ahmed Alameen, this narrative-driven puzzle game draws inspiration from Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a journey to uncover the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior, a quest ignited by the revelation of a previously unknown sibling.

Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to complete his vision. The gameplay involves classic point-and-click mechanics, challenging you to piece together images, decipher codes, and explore stunning, evocative environments. The game blends the atmospheric styles of Myst and Heaven's Vault with the chilling literary tone of H.P. Lovecraft.

Employing a unique blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes, Alameen delivers high-quality visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.

"My Father Lied" will be available on May 30th for $10.99/€ on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam. Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration is not yet available.
