Pokémon Unveils Evolutions of Ralts

A creative Pokémon fan has crafted unique convergent forms for Ralts, each gender boasting a distinct design. Leveraging established franchise concepts, this fan art exemplifies the community's inventive spirit. Convergent Pokémon, introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, share ecological similarities resulting in analogous appearances despite being different species. Examples include Toedscool/Toedscruel, Wiglett/Wugtrio, and Poltchageist/Sinistcha.

Twitter user OnduRegion presented their vision: two convergent Ralts forms, dubbed "Salts." The female variant resembles a mermaid, her bowl cut adorned with a starfish, her eyes visible. The male counterpart sports a differently colored tail, shark-like fins in its haircut, and a concealed face.

OnduRegion's artwork extends beyond aesthetics; they've also detailed abilities and stats. The female Salts is a Water/Psychic type, its Pokédex entry describing its penchant for luring ocean-goers to pilfer their possessions. The male Salts, a Water/Dark type, is characterized by its habit of gnawing on hard objects to strengthen its teeth, a stubborn and clumsy creature.

This isn't OnduRegion's first foray into impressive Pokémon fan art. Previous creations include redesigned Charcadet, a new Hawlucha evolution, and striking Paradox Forms for Mewtwo X and Y. The Ralts convergent forms seamlessly blend creativity with the established Pokémon style, enhanced by the accompanying lore, making their integration into the Pokémon world entirely believable.
