A Story Woven in Mystery
The game's narrative, unveiled by writer and narrative designer Zaire Lanier, centers around Hazel, a young woman searching for her mother after a devastating hurricane. This search leads her to uncover her own magical heritage as a Weaver, capable of manipulating the threads of fate. The game's setting is Prospero, a town inspired by various Southern locations, from swamps to mountains.
Hazel's journey is fraught with danger, encountering Haints – corrupted creatures spreading decay. Using her Weaving powers, she must cleanse them and restore balance to the world. A key encounter is with Catfish, a talking creature who reveals Hazel's abilities.
The game launches April 8th, 2025. Early access is available April 3rd, 2025 with the Premium Edition ($49.99). The standard edition is $39.99, and Game Pass subscribers can play on day one.
