The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item, central to a challenging and extensive side quest. Obtaining it is just the beginning; its true power unfolds later. Here's your guide to acquiring and using this vital artifact.
Where To Find the Tachyon Medal in Fantasian Neo Dimension
The Tachyon Medal is first mentioned in Shangri-La and is the final item you'll need before confronting the ultimate boss. Progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, situated in the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared, as it frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack that drains 90% of your health. Kina's healing abilities will be essential. Equipping Petrification Null gear will significantly ease the battle.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 should quickly dispatch summoned enemies. Consider bringing Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict massive damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest to the right; it contains the Tachyon Medal.
How To Utilize the Tachyon Medal in Fantasian Neo Dimension
Using the Tachyon Medal requires two prerequisites. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, complete the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These challenging encounters are spread across eight locations, with the first two appearing during the main story:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat these bosses in the specified order. After your final victory in Shangri-La, three chests will appear below the Altar. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Once all chests are opened, a glowing door will activate, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point. All progress, items, and equipment are carried over. While enemies are stronger, this shouldn't pose a significant challenge, especially if you've completed all side quests. Using the Medal also unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to restart your quest to save the Human Realm.
