Crab Cages, as the name suggests, are designed for crab catching. While often yielding trash (now useful thanks to crafting!), they offer a different fishing experience.
Acquiring Crab Cages in Fisch
Crab Cages are readily available across the Fisch map, frequently stocked near merchants. The exception is Mushgrove Swamp, where they're found near the watchtower. Locations include:
- Moosewood
- Sunstone Island
- Desolate Deep
- Mushgrove Swamp
- Roslit Bay
Simply aim at the ground-located cages to purchase them, specifying the quantity desired. At a mere 45 C$ each, they're an affordable fishing option.
Utilizing Crab Cages in Fisch
Using Crab Cages is straightforward. Head to any shoreline, equip the cage, and place it in the water. Crucially, maintain a distance between cages, indicated by a green marker on the water's surface.
Placement isn't limited to the shore; any body of water works, provided you're on solid ground. For deeper water placement, use a small boat like a surfboard.
After approximately five minutes, a sound effect and glowing cage signal a successful catch.
