Re-rolling your Avowed character? It happens! This guide details how to respec abilities, attributes, and even your companion's stats.
Why Respec?
Choosing the right build at the start can be tough. If your Avowed character isn't playing as you envisioned (maybe that wizard build isn't working out!), respecing lets you adjust your path. Later in the game, respecing allows you to optimize your build for maximum combat effectiveness.
Respeccing Abilities:
To reset your ability points, open the menu, go to the "Abilities" section, and locate the "Reset Points" option near the bottom. The initial cost is 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing with game progression. Confirm the reset to redistribute your points across skill trees (excluding the unchangeable "Godlike" abilities).
Respeccing Attributes:
Happy with your abilities but not your attributes? Or want a complete overhaul? Open the menu, navigate to the "Character" section. Below the attribute list, you'll find a button to reset your attribute points. The cost, starting at 100 Copper Skeyt, increases as you play.
Respeccing Companions:
To respec your companion, open the menu, select "Abilities," then the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name is a button to reset their points for a Copper Skeyt cost. Note: Each companion requires a separate respec.
