Maintaining a clean appearance in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 significantly impacts NPC interactions and quest outcomes. Neglecting hygiene results in negative perceptions and reduced persuasion success. Here's how to stay squeaky clean:
Why Cleanliness Matters
A dirty Henry faces reduced interaction opportunities and suffers speech and charisma debuffs, hindering persuasion checks, even with high Speech skills.
Cleaning Methods
Three primary methods exist for cleansing Henry: troughs, bathing spots, and bathhouses.
1. Troughs:
Commonly found near buildings in towns and outposts, troughs offer a basic clean, removing some dirt and blood but not cleaning clothes. Simply interact with the trough to wash.
2. Bathing Spots:
Located near larger bodies of water (e.g., rivers, ponds), bathing spots provide a more thorough clean than troughs, partially cleaning clothes. Enter the water to initiate the cleaning process. An example is found west of the Nomads’ and Cumans’ Camps in the Trotsky region.
3. Bathhouses:
For the most effective clean, visit a bathhouse (usually in larger towns). While requiring a small Groschen fee, bathhouses completely remove dirt and blood from Henry and thoroughly clean his clothes, offering the highest level of cleanliness.
Regular bathhouse visits are recommended for optimal social interactions and quest success. For more Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 guides and tips, check out The Escapist.
