Set in a 14th-century alternate Europe, The Blood of Dawnwalker follows Coen, a young man who acquires supernatural abilities after the events depicted in the trailer. His mission: rescue his loved ones from a vampire threat within a strict 30-day timeframe. While time progresses selectively during gameplay, strategic time management is crucial.
Coen faces a significant moral conflict: embracing his humanity or succumbing to his vampiric nature. This pivotal choice profoundly impacts both gameplay mechanics and the narrative arc. A key mechanic, "Blood Hunger," forces players to carefully manage Coen's blood intake, as prolonged abstinence risks uncontrollable violence and potentially fatal consequences for key characters.
