When is Costume Minccino Available?
Costume Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These fashionable Pokémon sport rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. Costume Minccino has a shiny variant, unlike its evolved form, Cinccino. The event also features costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms.
How to Catch Costume Minccino:
Unlike previous debuts, obtaining Costume Minccino is limited to two methods:
One-Star Raids:
Costume Minccino appears in One-Star Raids, easily soloable. However, One-Star Raids also feature Costume Shinx and Furfrou, requiring some searching to find a Minccino raid.
Paid Timed Research:
A $5 USD (or equivalent) ticket grants access to a Timed Research with XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and encounters including Costume Minccino. Completing the tasks guarantees at least one.
Field Research Tasks:
While Field Research Tasks offer event-themed Pokémon encounters, Niantic hasn't specified if Costume Minccino is included. It's likely to be absent, making the paid research the more reliable method.

Evolve your Costume Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone.
