To kick off your adventure, you'll need to pick up the "Lackey" side quest. Head to Gamemaster Vostatek's home, just west of Tachov, and speak with Zlata to get started. Alternatively, you can talk to Vitek, who's located slightly southeast of the house, as marked by the 'B' on the map above. Zlata will send you to Vitek anyway, so it's a good starting point. From here, you'll embark on a journey northward, where you'll come across Vostatek being attacked by wolves.

Searching for Pepik in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Once you've rescued Vostatek from the wolves, he'll ask you to help him reach his camping spot where he left his horse, Pepik. This part of the quest is straightforward, just follow Vostatek's directions. Keep an eye on your stamina though; if it runs too low, you'll drop him, which can be frustrating.

Upon reaching the camping site, Vostatek discovers that Pepik is missing. Your next task is to track down Pepik by following the clues scattered along the path. As you approach each clue, you'll get a prompt to investigate it. After examining each clue, continue along the trail until you arrive at a poacher's camp.

As it turns out, Pepik has been taken by poachers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. He's located at the back of their camp. Fortunately, the poachers tend to move around, allowing you to engage them in smaller groups. It's easier to take down the ones patrolling the edges of the camp, and often, they'll beg for mercy before you finish them off. You can also bypass the two tougher poachers in the center of the camp by quickly mounting Pepik and escaping before they can react. Keep in mind, you won't have a chance to rest between dealing with the wolves and finding Pepik, so your health might be low depending on how the wolf fight went.

Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. When you speak with him, you'll have the option to ride back to his home with him, which serves as a fast travel option. Upon arrival, you'll be rewarded with Groschen and the offer of a place to stay whenever you need it.

With Pepik safely back in Vostatek's hands in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you can now pursue other quests or perhaps a romance. The money you've earned also gives you the chance to buy more equipment if needed.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
