How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
E.R.P.O. continually introduces new monsters, making it essential to bookmark this page for the latest updates and strategies. Below, you'll find detailed guides on specific monsters, along with general tactics to tackle them:
Beat them in Melee: You can purchase melee weapons such as the Machete or Hammer from the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These will spawn in your next level, ready to be picked up with M1 and used to swing at monsters. Exercise caution against ranged attackers like the Huntsman. Employing a hit-and-run tactic can minimize damage, and don't forget to bring healing packs for melee engagements.
Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, Grenades and Mines can be game-changers. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and either throw it or place it on the ground to detonate, dealing massive damage to weaker monsters and severely impacting tougher ones. Mines are placed and triggered when a monster steps on them.
Monster Brawl: Clever positioning can turn monsters against each other. Lure a Huntsman to shoot another monster by hiding behind it and making noise through walking or using Voice chat mode. Similarly, you can maneuver Reapers during their attack animations to cause them to damage each other or other monsters.
Robe Guide (Ghost)
The Robe, a shadowy figure, is dangerous upon contact. To survive, either crouch and hide or kite it around. It's best to eliminate it using 2 Grenades or 2 Mines by baiting it towards you. Melee combat is not advised due to the high damage Robe inflicts. Be aware that Robe teleports and accelerates towards you if you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide
The Reaper, characterized by its sword arms, poses a melee threat. Unlike the Robe, it doesn't teleport, making it easier to kite and avoid. Melee weapons are more effective against the Reaper due to its lower damage output. A single grenade, combined with a few hits, can take it down, and explosives can stun it.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)
The seemingly harmless ducks become hostile if provoked or damaged. Once enraged, they'll relentlessly chase and bite, albeit dealing low damage. Outrunning them or using melee weapons are effective strategies. Grenades are an overkill option given their low HP.
Huntsman
The Huntsman, armed with a gun that can one-shot you, relies on sound to detect you. Avoid detection by crouching with C and hiding under tables. Direct melee combat is risky due to its auto-aim capability. Instead, strategically place a mine for the Huntsman to step on or throw a grenade while crouched. The explosion temporarily deafens the Huntsman, allowing you to safely close in for melee attacks.
