Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Returning and Improved Features
Peep Demo Theater Returns
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has been rated M for Mature by ESRB, confirming the inclusion of the Peep Demo Theater, a feature that was part of the original game's Subsistence and HD Collection versions. This feature allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA in her underwear, with the ability to freely move and zoom the camera. To unlock it, players need to collect all cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which requires completing the game four times.
The M rating aligns with the game's intense themes of violence and gore, as players take on the role of an elite soldier navigating enemy territory. The return of the Peep Demo Theater, often referred to as the "Creepy mode," has surprised many fans due to its controversial and explicit nature.
Faster Camouflage System
Exciting updates also include a streamlined camouflage system in MGS Delta. A recent post by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on Twitter (X) on March 28 showcased a new feature that allows players to change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more in under three seconds. This significant improvement enhances the gameplay experience, making it more fluid and immersive compared to the original MGS3, where changing camouflage was a slow and cumbersome process that disrupted the game's pacing, especially during stealth sections.
As the release date of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater approaches on August 26, 2025, fans are eagerly anticipating this remake, which promises to blend classic elements with quality-of-life improvements. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
