This optional quest is highly recommended, especially considering a Nightmare Echo is trapped within Fagaceae Peninsula's storm-ravaged ruins. Prepare your strongest Resonators; this is a substantial undertaking.
Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough
This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the base of the ruins south of Shores of Last Breath, interacting with the damaged Lumiscale Construct. The quest objectives are:
- Activate three steles at designated locations.
- Return to and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
- Pursue the Lumiscale Construct.
- Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (again).
- Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.
Activating the Steles
The Discipline Steles on the marked altars charge while standing on the central glowing circle. Enemies interrupting this process will slow progress, so eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar will cause energy depletion.

The Dragon of Dirge Encounter
This formidable enemy can easily stunlock or one-shot characters. Avoid its breath and falling star attacks, aiming for stuns as quickly as possible. The optimal strategy is to evade major attacks and capitalize on stun opportunities.
Upon defeating the dragon, the quest concludes, unlocking access to the remainder of Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
