Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story after the escape from Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update refines the game's atmosphere and enhances the tactile feedback for a more immersive experience. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. While Final Fantasy XVI's initial May 2024 sales were disappointing, subsequent sales slowed further, ultimately falling short of projected financial targets.
