Square Enix Announces Foamstars Free-to-Play Launch on October 4th
No More PS Plus Subscription Required
Square Enix has revealed that their premium 4v4 shooter, Foamstars, will transition to a free-to-play model starting this October. This change also removes the requirement for a PlayStation Plus subscription. Currently priced at $29.99 for PS4 and PS5, Foamstars will be available for free download and play beginning October 4th, 2024, at 1:00 a.m. UTC.
A "Legacy Gift" awaits players who purchased Foamstars before the switch. This exclusive in-game pack includes:
- 12 unique Bubble Beastie skins
- 1 special Slide Board design
- 1 exclusive title: "Legacy"
