Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! NetEase Games has unveiled a sneak peek at Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four, joining the roster on January 10th alongside new maps, a game mode, and a fresh battle pass. Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls launches January 10th at 1 AM PST.
The initial launch will feature Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving later in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch. NetEase plans for full seasons to last roughly three months.
A gameplay trailer showcases Invisible Woman's abilities: a primary attack that damages foes while healing allies, a knockback for close-range threats, invisibility, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a shield for allies. Her ultimate creates an area of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.
Another trailer highlighted Mister Fantastic, showcasing his stretching attacks and defensive capabilities, leading many to see him as a blend of Vanguard and Duelist styles.
While the Fantastic Four's arrival is highly anticipated, some fans expressed disappointment over Blade's absence. Despite data leaks revealing his presence in the game files, Dracula will be the main antagonist of Season 1. However, the excitement surrounding the new content largely outweighs these minor setbacks.
