Netflix has just announced the premiere date for the anime adaptation of *Devil May Cry* and treated fans to the opening trailer. Accompanied by the iconic "Rollin'" track by Limp Bizkit, the trailer showcases dynamic scenes featuring young Dante, Lady, and White Rabbit, packed with nods to the beloved video game series.

Showrunner Adi Shankar has shared his ambitious vision for the series, which is set in the late 90s to early 2000s. Shankar believes the soundtrack perfectly captures the essence of that era. Alongside Limp Bizkit, fans can expect to hear other tracks from the time, as well as a reimagined soundtrack from the games by the synthwave duo Power Glove.

Shankar also hinted that future seasons will showcase a variety of visual styles and soundtracks to reflect the diversity of the *Devil May Cry* games, indirectly confirming that the series will extend beyond a single season.

While plot details remain under wraps, the first season will draw from the manga *Code 1: Dante (Devil May Cry 3)*, following a young demon hunter as he delves into the mystery of a missing child. This quest will lead him to confront his past, his family, and the legacy of his demon father, Sparda.

The inaugural season will comprise 8 episodes and is slated to premiere on April 3, 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the release date.
