Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls Unveiled!
Get ready for a thrilling new season of Marvel Rivals, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST! This three-month season introduces Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters. Mister Fantastic will be a Duelist, while the Invisible Woman takes on the Strategist role. Expect to see The Thing and Human Torch join the roster approximately six to seven weeks into the season.
The Season 1 battle pass offers 10 brand-new skins and a rewarding return of 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. The cost of the pass is 990 Lattice.
Prepare for a new game mode: Doom Match! This arcade-style mode pits 8-12 players against each other on maps like the newly revealed Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum. The top 50% of players emerge victorious.
Three new maps expand the Marvel Rivals universe:
- Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum (Doom Match)
- Empire of the Eternal Night: Midtown (Convoy Missions)
- Empire of the Eternal Night: Central Park (Launching in six to seven weeks)
The developers highlighted their commitment to player feedback, acknowledging concerns about character balance (such as Hawkeye's ranged advantage) and promising adjustments in the first half of Season 1. The Baxter Building will also feature prominently in one of the new maps.
