Marvel Rivals Season 1: Free Skins, New Characters, and More!
NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a generous surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City sets the stage, forcing the Fantastic Four to defend the city. The season runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.
This season introduces the Fantastic Four to the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class character.
Players can acquire the free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by completing in-game quests and earning Chrono Tokens. These are included in the standard battle pass (990 Lattice, approximately $10). Peni Parker's skin is found on page three, featuring a striking blue and white design. Scarlet Witch's crimson and purple Emporium Matron skin is on page nine, complete with a unique animation. Note that while a Scarlet Witch emote is free, her MVP animation requires the premium battle pass. A free Thor skin is also obtainable through the Midnight Features event.
Beyond the free rewards, the in-game shop offers new villainous skins for Invisible Woman (Malice) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker). These stylish additions, along with the abundance of new content, have generated considerable excitement among Marvel Rivals players.
