Marvel Rivals Unveils Hero Stats and Popularity Insights

Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Approaches with New Data on Hero Popularity and Win Rates

NetEase has released intriguing statistics highlighting the most and least popular heroes in Marvel Rivals during its initial month. The data reveals player preferences across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console.

Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme as the most picked hero in Quickplay, showcasing his widespread appeal among players. However, the highest win rate belongs to Mantis, a Strategist character boasting impressive 56% and 55% win rates in Quickplay and Competitive respectively. Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

The "Hero Hot List" also reveals platform-specific favorites: Cloak & Dagger dominates Console Competitive, while Luna Snow leads the charge in PC Competitive.

Here's a breakdown of the most picked heroes:

  • Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
  • Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
  • Competitive (PC): Luna Snow

Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive), reflecting player dissatisfaction with her current performance. However, hope is on the horizon for Storm, as NetEase has announced significant buffs for her in the upcoming Season 1, potentially altering her standing in the meta.

The arrival of the Fantastic Four in Season 1, launching January 10th, is expected to significantly impact these statistics, promising exciting changes to the Marvel Rivals landscape.
