The ability to "swap" or "redraw" stickers (up to a certain number of times per pack) significantly improves the odds of obtaining needed stickers. This guide has been updated to include additional methods for acquiring Swap Packs in Monopoly GO.
How Do Swap Packs Work in Monopoly GO?
Swap Packs allow you to replace any sticker within the pack. This means unwanted stickers can be exchanged for new ones, boosting your chances of obtaining rare and valuable additions to your collection. This could be the key to completing your Monopoly GO album!
Each Swap Pack contains four stickers: typically one five-star, two four-star, and one three-star sticker. Before claiming your stickers, you can swap any of them for a new one of the same rarity. This is a perfect way to eliminate duplicates and increase your chances of acquiring higher-tier stickers.
Swapping a sticker replaces it with a random new sticker of the same tier. You can swap up to three stickers per pack. Once you're happy with your selections, click "Collect" to add the stickers to your collection.
While swapping is random, it gives you more agency over your sticker acquisition. Remember, you can always trade duplicates with friends to complete your sets.
How To Get More Swap Packs in Monopoly GO?
Swap Packs were initially a milestone reward in Monopoly GO's first Peg-E Sticker Drop. Since then, several methods have been added to obtain them. Here are some of the most common:
Gold Vault
The Gold Vault, the highest tier reward in the Sticker for Rewards section, offers a Swap Pack among other valuable items. While previously costing 1,000 Stars, Scopely has reduced the price to 700 Stars. Stars are earned by collecting duplicate stickers; each duplicate contributes a certain number of Stars regardless of rarity.
The Gold Vault can be opened once daily and contains:
- 500 Dice
- One Blue Sticker Pack (four stickers, one guaranteed 4-star)
- One Purple Sticker Pack (six stickers, one guaranteed 5-star)
- One Swap Pack
Minigames
Several minigames, including Peg-E games, Treasure Hunts, and Partner Events, sometimes offer Swap Packs as milestone rewards. Completing challenges or reaching specific milestones within these minigames increases your chances of winning a Swap Pack. Be sure to participate in all available minigames to maximize your opportunities.
