Hethereau, the game's sprawling metropolis, immediately establishes an unsettling atmosphere. From peculiar trees and unusual citizens to an otter sporting a television for a head, the city's oddities are plentiful. The strangeness intensifies at night, with graffiti-covered skateboards causing chaos. Players, wielding Esper Abilities, are tasked with investigating these "Anomalies" and restoring order to Hethereau, potentially integrating into the city's daily life along the way.
