A Stellar Team Behind Guns Undarkness

The game boasts a remarkable team, including Shoji Meguro, renowned for his work on the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei franchises, Ilya Kuvshinov, a celebrated character artist known for his contributions to Ghost in the Shell, and rapper Lotus Juice, a prominent figure in the Persona 3 soundtrack.

Meguro, a veteran composer at Atlus since 1995, transitioned to independent game development in 2021, while continuing his collaborations with Atlus. Guns Undarkness, initially unveiled at Indie Live Expo Winter 2021 and successfully funded via Kickstarter in 2022, is published under Kodansha Game Creators Lab.

Gameplay Blending Stealth and Turn-Based Combat

Guns Undarkness seamlessly integrates stealth and turn-based tactical combat, drawing inspiration from Metal Gear Solid and the Persona series. Set in a dystopian 2045, players assume the role of a private military company operative, embarking on crucial missions to unravel global mysteries and avert humanity's impending doom.

Strategic stealth maneuvers allow players to navigate environments undetected, gaining a significant advantage in subsequent turn-based battles. Engage in tactical combat using a variety of firearms, commanding your characters to victory.

Demo and Early Access Details

The Guns Undarkness demo, offering approximately 20 minutes of gameplay, including a comprehensive tutorial, will be available during Steam Next Fest, commencing February 24, 2025. Early Access is planned for Spring 2025 on PC, with roughly 10 hours of gameplay anticipated at launch. A precise release date remains unannounced.
