Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Initially slated for a December 17th release, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 28th. This charming puzzler, developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, features magical plant cultivation in the idyllic English countryside.
The game, which launched to widespread praise on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in April 2024, faced a brief delay to ensure optimal player experience. While a December release was initially targeted, a subsequent announcement pushed the PlayStation launch into 2025. However, a revised release date of January 28th has now been confirmed.
Despite the confirmed date, a PlayStation Store page for Botany Manor remains absent, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available. The game is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Botany Manor’s Strong OpenCritic rating (83/100, 92% recommendation) reflects its positive reception. Its relaxing atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and engaging exploration make it a compelling addition to the PlayStation puzzle game library.
January 28th will be a busy day for PlayStation gamers, with Botany Manor joining other notable releases including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness. Following its PlayStation launch, Botany Manor will be available on all initially announced platforms. Balloon Studios' next project remains unannounced.
