PlayStation Announces State of Play for Tomorrow

Authore: SebastianUpdate:Feb 20,2025

Sony's PlayStation State of Play is set for tomorrow, February 12th, at 2 PM Pacific Time (5 PM Eastern, 10 PM UK). The 40+ minute broadcast, available in English and Japanese, will stream on PlayStation's official YouTube and Twitch channels.

While specific game announcements remain under wraps, the PlayStation Blog hints at a diverse lineup of titles from global studios, promising "a creative and unique selection of exciting games." Many anticipate updates on highly anticipated titles. A deeper dive into Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima and a release date for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach are among the top fan hopes.

Given last week's PlayStation Store leak, a formal Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater release date trailer is also a strong possibility.

PlayWhile reveals for Insomniac's Wolverine or Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet might be premature, other anticipated titles include S-Game's Phantom Blade Zero (a Chinese-developed action RPG), Bungie's Marathon, and Haven's Fairgames – both intriguing multiplayer shooters gaining traction following Sony's involvement in the Concord situation.

With March marking the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne, a special announcement isn't entirely out of the question. Speculation also runs rampant regarding potential surprises, including a possible Halo arrival on PlayStation.
