Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the details!
Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration
The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held in three different cities:
- Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
- Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
- Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th
Further details will be revealed in March 2025. Remember, event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.
This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, enhanced gameplay, and special bonuses. In-person attendees enjoy unique city-specific features and experiences. Tickets are required for both in-person and online participation.
Expect rare Pokémon encounters unavailable through standard gameplay, increased Shiny Pokémon rates, and location-based habitat variations. In-person events also include exclusive merchandise, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges. While specifics remain under wraps, expect a similar format to previous Fests.
Two More January Events!
Beyond Pokémon GO Fest 2025, Niantic announced two exciting events for January 2025:
Fashion Week: Taken Over: (January 15th, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 8:00 pm local time)
- Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni.
- Debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai from 12 km Eggs.
- Other Shadow Pokémon appearances (Snivy, Tepig, etc.).
- Chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk.
Shadow Raid Day: (January 19th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm local time)
- Capture Shadow Ho-Oh in five-star raids.
- $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chance, 2x Stardust, and 50% XP bonus from Raids.
- Increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate.
- Opportunity to teach Ho-Oh its signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
