Two exclusive WoW mounts, the Blazing Royal Fire Hawk and the Golden Ashes of Al'ar, are making their debut in WoW China, starting January 15th. These mounts are reimagined versions of the incredibly rare Pureblood Fire Hawk and Ashes of Al'ar, respectively.
These new mounts are rewards for specific promotions within WoW China. The Blazing Royal Fire Hawk, reminiscent of the Pureblood Fire Hawk, boasts auspicious clouds within its wings while in flight, a symbol of peace and good fortune in Chinese culture. The Golden Ashes of Al'ar, a resplendent gold version of the original, features a black saddle and evocative flavor text referencing Kael'thas Sunstrider.
The Blazing Royal Fire Hawk is obtainable through a "Treasure Workshop" event, while the Golden Ashes of Al'ar is a reward from Landro's Loot Box, costing approximately $27. The loot box offers a chance at various prizes, including other rare mounts like the X-51 Nether Rocket X-TREME and the Swift Spectral Tiger. Group purchasing offers bonus crates.
Currently, there's no indication these mounts will be released internationally. For now, players outside China can only appreciate these visually striking additions to the World of Warcraft mount collection.
