The Samsung 990 Evo Plus is another excellent SSD option for both gaming PCs and the PlayStation 5. It exceeds Sony's minimum speed requirements for the PS5, with sequential speeds reaching up to 7,250MB/s read and 6,300MB/s write. Although it's not as fast as the 990 Pro, it's a significant upgrade over the standard 990 Evo.
