How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze
To find this stash, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While multiple entrances exist, use the main entrance indicated on the map above for easiest access.
Once inside the maze, proceed to the right until you reach a wrecked bus on its side. Look to your left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to locate the stash. Retrieve the Tourist Suit Body Armor from the stash.
Is the Tourist Suit Armor Worthwhile?
The Tourist Suit is a highly effective armor piece for the early to mid-game in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It offers substantial protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key advantages are excellent radiation and physical protection, enabling you to endure higher radiation levels and various damage types.
Beyond its defensive capabilities, it also boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Given the game's emphasis on exploration on foot, improved stamina is crucial. Increased stamina and regeneration allow for extended travel.
While the Tourist Suit is strong on its own, upgrading it further enhances its effectiveness. While Lens at Zalissya cannot upgrade it, Diode at the Slag Heap possesses the necessary expertise.
