Unlock All Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

For all the completionists and trophy hunters out there, you'll be thrilled to learn that *Monster Hunter Wilds* offers some challenging achievements to conquer. We're here to guide you through unlocking all the hidden achievements in the game.

All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there are 12 secret achievements waiting to be unlocked. Seven of these will be unlocked naturally as you progress through the main story. The remaining five are linked to optional objectives, detailed below:

  • I Caught a Shooting Star!: Caught a creature in the desert that shines like a shooting star.
  • A Prize Held High: Caught a creature that bears an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
  • A Legacy Restored: Obtained an Artian Weapon of Rarity 8.
  • Seasoned Hunter: Hunted 50 Tempered monsters.
  • Top of the Food Chain: Hunted 50 Apex Predators.

While some of these achievements are straightforward, others require a bit more effort. Let's dive into how to unlock each one.

I Caught a Shooting Star!

To catch a creature that shines like a shooting star, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip some screamer pods and look for a Baunos flying near the gathering spots. Shoot the screamer pods at it, then use your Capture Net to catch it.

A Prize Held High

You can achieve this in any map by seeking out tight corners and dead ends. Specifically, go to Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest and find the small puddle of water. Use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab. Keep an ear out for Alma, who will often comment when you're near a creature with the Ancient Wyvern Coin, hinting at its presence.

A Legacy Restored

As you delve into High Rank missions, you can begin crafting Artian gear. To acquire Rarity 8 weapons and materials, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters while equipped with Rarity 7 gear.

Seasoned Hunter

Don't confuse Tempered monsters with Frenzied ones; the former are outlined in purple on the minimap, while the latter are outlined in red. Both slaying and capturing Tempered monsters contribute to this achievement. These monsters start appearing from Chapter 4 onward, as you progress into High Rank content.

Top of the Food Chain

This achievement involves hunting 50 Apex Predators. Note that only the following monsters qualify as Apex Predators: Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad.
