World of Warcraft Classic's Season of Discovery concludes with its seventh and final phase, launching January 28th. This update introduces significant new content:
- Karazhan Crypts: A new 5-player dungeon located beneath the iconic Karazhan tower in Deadwind Pass.
- Scourge Invasions: Undead hordes will invade various zones across Azeroth, offering new quests and rewards. Players can gather Necrotic Runes to purchase consumables from Rune Brokers.
- Naxxramas Raid (February 6th): The legendary Naxxramas raid opens, featuring a challenging "Empower" difficulty option for seasoned players. Conquering the four wings unlocks access to Sapphiron and Kel'thuzad in the Frostwyrm Lair.
The phase follows the Ahn'qiraj raids of Phase 6, leaving the lingering mystery of the Shadowy Figure unresolved. Whether this enigmatic NPC will reappear remains to be seen. While Phase 7 marks the end of Season of Discovery, Blizzard promises continued updates and challenges for World of Warcraft Classic throughout 2025.
