World of Warcraft has confirmed that the Breakneck races will fully leverage the D.R.I.V.E. system, promising an exhilarating experience.

In addition to the Breakneck races, Patch 11.1 introduces Skyrocket races, a novel challenge where players don Goblin jetpacks to soar through the skies. This new movement style blends elements of existing flight systems: players cannot halt mid-air as with Steady flight, yet they maintain momentum and altitude unlike in Skyriding. Breakneck races are available, though they lack the Advanced or Challenge courses found in some Skyriding races.
