This guide details the location and completion strategies for the three towers in Thorncrown Rises within Wuthering Waves, part of the "Shadow of the Past" questline. Botim, located south of the Rinascita-Ragunna-Thessaleo Fells northern Resonance Beacon, initiates this quest by explaining the haunted towers and offering rewards for their cleansing.

Thorncrown Rises Tower Locations:

Three towers require exploration, each representing a sub-quest within "Shadow of the Past":

• Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Located northeast of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Situated south of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Found southwest of Thorncrown Rises.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Walkthrough:

Begin by speaking with Itzel, positioned east of the Resounding Rise Tower. Inside, navigate the following:

1. Interact with the hallway painting to proceed.
2. Follow the quest marker to engage and defeat the Abyssal Mercator.
3. Collect the northern Basic Supply chest.
4. Obtain the western Supply chest.
5. Enter the eastern room, then the second painting.
6. Defeat the Abyssal Mercator again.
7. Collect Supply chests in the east and west rooms.
8. Follow the quest marker, defeat the Abyssal Mercator, and proceed through the painting behind it.
9. Open the chest to stop the enemy attacks.
10. Defeat the blocking enemy.

Solve the painting puzzle:

1. Move the top-left painting to the bottom-right position.
2. Move the painting behind the top-left display to the bottom-left position.
3. Move the top-right painting to the top-left position.
4. Move the painting behind the bottom-right display to the top-right position.
5. Collect the Premium Supply chest.

Finally, defeat the final Abyssal Mercator, speak with Itzel, and claim the Tidal Supply chest. This weakens one Command Rise Tower barrier.

Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise Walkthrough:

Travel southeast to the Twilight Rise Tower and speak to Insula to enter. Follow the quest marker until the loop is discovered:

1. Investigate the three marked locations for clues.
2. Speak with Insula.
3. Enter the secret passage beneath the elevator.
4. Defeat the Abyssal Patricius.
5. Collect the Supply chest and continue following the Patricius.
6. Defeat the Patricius again.
7. Speak with Insula.
8. Collect the Tidal Supply chest.

This completes the Twilight Rise sub-quest and weakens the second Command Rise Tower barrier.

Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise Walkthrough:

This sub-quest activates after completing the previous two.

1. Speak with Insula and Itzel at the camp northeast of the Command Rise Tower.
2. Use the Wingray to fly to the Command Rise Tower.
3. Enter the tower and follow the quest marker.
4. Collect the Supply chest west of the moving libraries.
5. Use the Grapple to ascend.
6. Collect the Basic Supply chest and defeat enemies for another Supply chest.
7. Follow the marker and defeat the Abyssal Patricius.
8. Collect the chest and continue grappling upwards.

Use the Grapple to manipulate libraries for higher access, collecting Supply chests along the way. Two Sonance Caskets: Ragunna are also located within. Utilize the chandelier mechanism to reach the top. After discovering Liel's demise, speak with Insula and Itzel, then use the portal to confront the Abyssal Patricius. Defeat it to obtain the Call of the Abyss Rectifier and a Premium Supply chest. Exiting via the portal and speaking to Insula and Itzel awards the King of Thessaleo and Shadow of the Tower Achievements.
