As Version 1.4 nears its end, HoYoverse has shifted focus to the future, unveiling details about Version 1.5 through a Special Program livestream.
The highlight of Version 1.5 for many fans is the introduction of two new S-Rank Agents. Astra Yao, an Ether Support character, will be available during the first phase starting January 22. As an Ether-based agent, she joins the ranks of Nicole and Zhu Yuan, bringing her unique W-Engine, Elegant Vanity, which players can also pull for. Phase 2, beginning on February 12, introduces Evelyn Chevalier, a Fire Attacker Bodyguard, along with her exclusive W-Engine, Heartstring Nocturne, available for a limited time.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 Launches on January 22
Beyond the new agents, Version 1.5 offers a wealth of additional content. Following the conclusion of the main narrative in Version 1.4, players can explore a new special story. The S-Rank Bangboo unit Snap will be available, alongside new check-in events and further game optimizations. Existing activities will see enhancements, and the next Hollow Zero phase, Cleanse Calamity, will be introduced. Players can also enjoy a new Arcade game called Mach 25, and new costumes for Ellen, Nicole, and Astra Yao will be added.
A highly requested feature, banner reruns, will also debut in Version 1.5. Similar to HoYoverse's other titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero will reintroduce past S-Rank agents for players to pull for. During the first phase, Ellen Joe and her specific W-Engine will be available. In Phase 2, Qingyi and her W-Engine will be up for grabs, offering players another chance to add these characters to their roster.
