About Hazari:
Hazari is a captivating four-player card game played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player receives 13 cards, and the objective is to arrange them from highest to lowest. Once all players have completed their arrangement and called "up," the gameplay begins with the player to the right of the dealer. The highest card value wins the round, and the winner throws the next set of cards. Points are tallied at the end of each round, with cards from Ace (A) to 10 worth 10 points, and cards from 9 to 2 worth 5 points. The ultimate goal is to reach 1000 points across multiple games.
In Hazari, if two players throw the same card type, the second player's card trumps the first. For instance, if Player 1 throws AKQ of Hearts and Player 3 throws AKQ of Diamonds, Player 3 wins that round.
Rules of Winning:
- TROY: Three cards of the same rank, e.g., AAA, KKK, QQQ, JJJ, 10-10-10, down to 222.
- COLOR RUN: Three cards of the same suit in sequential order, e.g., AKQ or A23 of any suit.
- RUN: Three cards in sequential order, but not necessarily of the same suit, e.g., AKQ or A23 across any suits.
- COLOR: Any three cards of the same suit, with the highest card determining the winner, e.g., K83 of Spades vs. K92 of Spades, the latter wins.
- PAIR: Two cards of the same rank plus a third card, e.g., 443, 99J, QQ6, with AAK being the highest and 223 the lowest.
- INDI or INDIVIDUALS: Three cards that don't form any of the above combinations, with the highest card determining the winner, e.g., 5 of Hearts, 7 of Spades, 9 of Diamonds, where 9 is the highest card.
How to Play:
To begin, each player arranges their 13 cards into sets of 3, 3, 3, and 4. The game starts with one player throwing their first set of three cards, followed by the other players throwing their sets. The player with the highest value set wins those cards and throws the next set. This continues until all sets have been played, with the final set of four cards thrown by the winner of the third set. The game continues until a player accumulates 1000 points.
