While PS Plus Essential provides online multiplayer access and monthly freebies, a substantial horror game library resides within the Extra and Premium tiers.
The Extra tier boasts hundreds of PS5 and PS4 games, regularly expanding its catalog with approximately 15 new titles monthly. Premium builds upon this, adding hundreds of classic titles from PS3, PS2, PS1, and PSP. This extensive library ensures a diverse selection, including a strong horror game lineup.
Update (January 5, 2025): The December 2024 PS Plus Extra and Premium additions lacked horror titles. Noteworthy, Resident Evil 2 will be removed from the service on January 21, 2025. However, Resident Evil 3 remains available. Given this, we've added a section highlighting alternative PS Plus games that might appeal to horror fans.
