Prepare for battle with these initial mercenary units: Byzantine Cataphracts, Swiss Pikemen, Persian Immortals, Indian Battle Elephants, Roman Centurions, Egyptian Chariot Archers, Japanese Samurai, and Korean Archers. Each unit boasts upgradeable tech to further amplify their battlefield prowess.
Blood Money and Balanced Warfare
The Mercenary system evokes memories of Total War's diverse armies, allowing players to overwhelm enemies with hired swords. However, its impact on game balance remains to be seen. Some may find it disruptive.
