After investigating the visitor and learning about "Shards of Time," The Sims 4 tasks you with a scavenger hunt. The game's clues are vague, hinting that these shards are hidden within everyday household items like couches and refrigerators.
To start your search, head to a residential area—your own home or a neighbor's—and begin thoroughly searching everything. Check couches, refrigerators, and any other item you can interact with. Remember, not every search will yield a shard, but you can repeatedly search the same object. Persistence is key!
After a few minutes of searching, you should locate three Shards of Time. Return to Emit, who's likely still hanging around in the park near the Special Time Capsule. Show him the shards, and he'll guide you to the next stage of the event.
