Known Habitats: Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, Ruins of Wyveria
Breakable Parts: Tail and Forelegs
Recommended Elemental Attacks: Fire and Lightning
Effective Status Effects: Poison (2x), Sleep (2x), Paralysis (2x), Blastblight (2x), Stun (2x), Exhaust (2x)
Effective Items: Flash Pod, Shock Trap, Pitfall Trap
Using Flash Pods
Despite its size, Doshaguma is incredibly agile, making it a challenging target, especially for melee fighters. A Flash Pod temporarily blinds the monster, providing a crucial window for attacks or mounting.
Targeting Weak Points
Prioritize attacking Doshaguma's forelegs (3-star weakness) for maximum damage. While its back legs are weaker (2-star weakness), they're still a viable target. The head also boasts a 3-star weakness. Breaking its tail, though less damaging, yields valuable monster parts.
Elemental Advantage
Fire and lightning are your best elemental bets. Bowgun users should utilize Flaming and Thunder ammo. Weapon decorations enhancing fire skills are also highly recommended. For fire attacks, focus on the head and torso; for lightning, target the head.
Blastblight Awareness
Doshaguma inflicts Blastblight, causing explosions if the gauge fills or you take a heavy hit. Counter this with Nulberries, Deodorant, or by dodge-rolling up to three times.
Strategic Trap Usage
Utilize environmental traps to your advantage. Remember to sheath your weapon before using your slinger and ensure the monster is directly above the trap before activating it.

Capturing Doshaguma

To capture Doshaguma, reduce its HP to 20% or less. Set a Shock or Pitfall Trap, then lure it into the trap using Luring Ammo or meat. Once trapped, repeatedly use tranquilizer ammo until it falls asleep.
Remember to eat a hearty meal for beneficial buffs before engaging Doshaguma. Good hunting!
