Kabam is rolling out exciting updates for Marvel Contest of Champions, ushering in the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing new Champions, and unveiling a new character type called Eidols. This month also spotlights the powerful women of the game, allowing you to influence an upcoming Champion rework.
Jean Grey and Bastion are the latest additions to The Contest, each bringing unique abilities and a compelling new storyline. Jean Grey joins the roster on March 13th, with Bastion following on the 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, featuring Jean Grey and the X-Men battling dangerous variants in a fresh quest.
The game's lore expands with the introduction of more Eidols, continuing the Founders storyline. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols will be introduced throughout 2025, each with a distinct sourcing system. Lumatrix, the next Eidol, arrives on March 5th and will be available until June 4th.
Lumatrix, designed by The Founders, is a master infiltrator with skills in spying, sabotage, and assassination. Made of ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix harnesses light manipulation abilities. While it dazzles as a performer, it's a ruthless weapon designed to eliminate enemies covertly.

March also celebrates the powerful women of The Contest. Kabam has collaborated with seven female developers and content creators, each linked to a different Champion. By completing Solo Objectives and Realm Events, you can decide which Champion will be reworked in 2025.
