Development is underway across four of EA's internal studios, with significant playtesting planned. A closed beta program is already in the works, providing crucial early feedback to shape the final product. This testing phase will allow players to experience key game elements and contribute to the refinement of the shooter before its official launch.
This announcement also clarifies the future of the Need for Speed franchise. Vince Zampella previously indicated that a new NFS title isn't imminent, prioritizing the development of this next Battlefield installment.
