January 15th is a big day for Zombies fans! Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studios has confirmed they'll reveal details about the mode's next map. Currently, Black Ops 6 Zombies boasts three maps, but with four years of development behind this latest entry, Treyarch appears poised to deliver a substantial amount of Zombies content. Season 2 will introduce a fourth map.

With Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 rapidly approaching, fans eagerly anticipate new content. Season 1 has been one of the longest in Call of Duty history, leaving players across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone patiently awaiting Treyarch's unveiling of Season 2's additions. While many expected a longer wait for details, Zombies fans will soon receive a much-anticipated content reveal.

Treyarch Confirms New Black Ops 6 Zombies Map Reveal for January 15th

In a recent Twitter post, Treyarch Studios shared exciting news for Call of Duty Zombies fans. The studio confirmed they have "plenty to share with the Zombies community" on January 15th, including details on the next map. While players must wait until Wednesday's official announcement for full details, reliable leaker and industry insider TheGhostOfHope revealed that Season 2 (launching January 28th) will include a new round-based Zombies map. Given the last Zombies map arrived in Season 1 Reloaded, many anticipated the next map's release in a mid-Season 2 update; however, that may not be the case.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's second season carries high expectations. However, Multiplayer and Warzone fans will need to wait a bit longer for their updates. Multiplayer fans can likely anticipate numerous new maps, weapons, and events in Season 2. Meanwhile, Warzone's declining player base has fans pleading for developers to address rampant hacking issues threatening the game's survival.

The latest Warzone update further exacerbated problems earlier this week. A new patch introduced various glitches into Warzone's Ranked Play mode. Issues ranged from players clipping through the map to Buy Station malfunctions, leaving players frustrated by new problems before existing bugs and glitches were resolved. While Season 2 offers substantial new content, Warzone players primarily desire crucial bug fixes.
