In Expelled!, you step into the shoes of Verity Amersham, a seemingly model student at Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls in the year 1922. Despite her good reputation, Verity finds herself accused of attempting to push a prefect out of a window. Now, with just one school day to clear her name, the clock is ticking. Characters move and act independently around you, adding to the urgency. You can choose to find the real culprit, frame someone else, or take a more aggressive approach with your hockey stick—the choice is yours!

It's easy to recommend Expelled!, especially given the glowing review by Catherine Dellosa. Inkle, the studio behind my all-time favorite mobile game, 80 Days, and the intriguing murder-themed visual novel Overboard, has once again struck gold. While Expelled! casts you as a less sinister character than in Overboard, you have the freedom to play it straight, pin the crime on someone else, or unleash your inner teenage vigilante.
