David Koepp, the screenwriter behind the iconic 1993 film Jurassic Park and the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth, has revealed an exciting detail about the new movie. In an interview with Variety, Koepp shared that he revisited Michael Crichton's original Jurassic Park novels to refresh his inspiration, as there is no new novel to serve as a direct source for Jurassic World Rebirth.

During his re-reading, Koepp decided to incorporate elements from the novels that were previously unused. Specifically, he included a sequence from the first Jurassic Park novel that was intended for the original film but ultimately left out due to space constraints. "There was a sequence from the first novel that we’d always wanted in the original movie, but didn’t have room for," Koepp explained. "We were like, ‘Hey, we get to use that now.’"

While Koepp did not disclose the exact sequence, this revelation has sparked considerable speculation among fans. Various scenes from the novel have been suggested as potential candidates for inclusion in Jurassic World Rebirth.
