Konosuba Mobile Game Closing; Offline Version Considered

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days is shutting down its servers globally on January 30th, 2025, ending a nearly five-year run. This popular RPG from Sesisoft will cease operations for both its Japanese and global audiences simultaneously. However, there's a potential glimmer of hope for fans.

Developers are reportedly working on a limited offline version, preserving the main storyline, key quests, and significant events. Details remain scarce, and the offline version's release is not guaranteed.

Refunds and In-App Purchases:

The official channels will close on February 28th, 2025. In-app purchases were disabled on October 31st, 2024. Players can still utilize existing Quartz and in-game items until the service ends. Refunds for unused Quartz or unclaimed purchases from early 2024 are available until January 30th, 2025.

A Look Back at KonoSuba: Fantastic Days:

Initially launched in Japan in February 2020 and globally in August 2021, this was the first KonoSuba mobile game. The game featured a captivating storyline set in a world under threat from the Devil King's forces. Its charming narrative, appealing visuals, and visual novel-style story mode were well-received.

Unfortunately, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days shares the fate of many gacha RPGs, succumbing to factors such as declining player interest and the high costs of maintaining high production values.

If you haven't experienced KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, you have only a few months remaining to play. Download it from the Google Play Store. For more gaming news, check out our article on Orna: The GPS MMORPG's Conqueror's Guild for PvP Battles.
