Lara Croft Embarks on a New Adventure in Unanticipated Game

Lara Croft, the iconic Tomb Raider, is raiding her way into Naraka: Bladepoint! The fast-paced battle royale game recently unveiled its plans for its third-anniversary celebration in August, which includes a thrilling collaboration with the legendary Tomb Raider franchise. The anniversary trailer showcased exciting new additions, including the brand-new map, Perdoria, and the highly anticipated Tomb Raider crossover.

Since her 1996 debut, Lara Croft has become a gaming icon, starring in numerous games, comics, and even an upcoming Netflix animated series. Her popularity has led to collaborations with various titles, including Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Fortnite, and Final Fantasy XV. Now, this intrepid adventurer joins the melee-focused action of Naraka: Bladepoint, bringing her signature style to the battle royale.

Lara's appearance will manifest as a skin for the agile assassin Matari, the Silver Crow. While a preview of the skin is yet to be released, previous crossovers suggest a comprehensive cosmetic package, likely encompassing a new outfit, hairstyle, and various accessories.

Naraka: Bladepoint's Big 2024

The third anniversary promises a massive update for Naraka: Bladepoint. Besides the Tomb Raider event, players can look forward to Perdoria, a new map launching July 2nd – the first in nearly two years. Perdoria will introduce unique challenges and mechanics, adding a fresh dimension to the gameplay. Further enhancing the year, a collaboration with CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is also planned, though a specific release date remains unannounced.

While the Tomb Raider crossover is cause for celebration, the game also announced the discontinuation of Xbox One support by the end of August. However, players can rest assured that all progress and acquired cosmetics will be preserved on their Xbox accounts, allowing seamless transition to Xbox Series X/S or PC.
