Lies of P DLC and Sequel Announced: Director's Letter Reveals New Content and Concept Art
Director Ji-Won Choi recently treated Lies of P fans to a celebratory message, offering a glimpse into upcoming DLC and a highly anticipated sequel for the steampunk Pinocchio-inspired Soulslike game. The anniversary message detailed the team's dedication, acknowledging the challenges and expressing gratitude for the enthusiastic community support.
The DLC, currently under development, promises to expand upon the original game's strengths while addressing previous issues. Choi stated the goal is to "do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow." This commitment to refinement is evident in the newly revealed concept art and music.
A captivating piece of concept art depicts P in a snowy location, gazing towards a mysterious lighthouse. This hints at a new, challenging area filled with danger. Accompanying the art is a new musical piece from the DLC’s soundtrack, "Lisrim," originally composed in 2022 by onoken. While described as "new," its familiarity with the game's existing musical style is apparent. The accompanying music video further enhances the anticipation, showcasing a character with a clockwork weapon navigating Victorian rooftops.
