Get ready to test your skills and aim for the title of Sorcerer Supreme with the new limited-time mode in Marvel Snap: Sanctum Showdown. This exciting event is live now and will run until March 11th, offering a fresh twist on competition with unique snapping mechanics and a different win condition.
In the Sanctum Showdown mode, the traditional gameplay of reaching turn six is replaced by a race to 16 points. The key to victory lies in the central Sanctum location, which awards the highest points each turn. Snapping takes on a new dimension here; from turn three onwards, you can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's value by one point, keeping the game dynamic and intense.
Each match in Sanctum Showdown costs one Scroll to enter, but a win will reward you with another Scroll to keep the momentum going. You begin with 12 Scrolls and receive an additional two every eight hours. Should you run out, you can buy more for 40 Gold. Regardless of the match's outcome, you'll progress in your Sorcerer Rank and earn Charms, which you can spend in the Sanctum Shop on cosmetics or new cards.
Thinking of using Captain Marvel or Dracula to gain an edge? Think again! To ensure fair play, certain cards and locations are banned in this mode, including those with abilities that affect final outcomes. Cards like Debrii are also excluded to avoid one-sided strategies.
