Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Detailed Timeline
Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventure in Metaphor: ReFantazio, each contributing unique combat abilities. While Gallica is present from the outset, her combat participation is limited initially.
Spoiler Warning: This guide reveals the recruitment dates for each party member, potentially spoiling some plot elements.
Each party member's Archetype unlocks independently and becomes usable by other party members once obtained. Early recruits may be initially AI-controlled until their Archetype unlocks.
Party Member Recruitment Dates:

Strohl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th (Border Fort events), but his Archetype awakens on June 6th (Nord Mines). Until then, he's AI-controlled.

Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, but becomes fully active on June 6th. Grius doesn't undergo the same Archetype awakening as other party members.

Hulkenberg (Knight): Interacts with the party from June 10th, with her full integration and Archetype awakening occurring during the boss fight on June 11th.

Heismay (Thief): His Archetype awakens and he joins the party on July 4th, during the main dungeon exploration in Martira.

Junah (Masked Dancer): Junah joins the party after her Archetype awakening on August 13th.

Eupha (Summoner): Eupha's recruitment is flexible. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon between August 19th and September 4th (during Viraga Island free time) triggers her recruitment for the final boss. Her Bond quest, however, only becomes available after this period.

Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins the party on September 11th (Saint's Day events). Combat use is available the following day.
